Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received French Presidential Envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian at his office, accompanied by French Ambassador Hervé Magro and media advisor Ali Hamdan.
Discussions focused on Lebanon's political developments, the presidential election, and the broader situation following the cessation of Israeli aggression.
Earlier, Le Drian observed part of the legislative session from the guest gallery in the Parliament’s main hall.
In separate meetings, Berri hosted caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, before the legislative session.
Additionally, Berri received a phone call from Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty and Imam Sheikh Abdel Hussein Sadek of Nabatieh, who thanked him for his efforts in supporting displaced citizens and helping to halt the Israeli attacks.
