A massive explosion occurred in the Mashtal Al Zaraa - Borj Al Arab area in Akkar, caused by a fuel tanker, resulting in a huge fire that filled the sky with smoke.
Firefighting teams rushed to the site in an attempt to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby areas, while the road was partially closed for the safety of citizens.
