Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator Imran Riza, with whom he discussed the latest local and regional developments.
Talks reportedly focused on efforts to stabilize Lebanon, facilitate its recovery, and address ongoing challenges.

We wish them all success in their mission.”

Additionally, we plan to allocate further funds to support the Lebanese Army and security forces,” Aguado said on emerging, highlighting Spain’s role in UNIFIL and noting that the mission’s commander is a Spanish general.
Salam further welcomed German Ambassador to Lebanon Kurt Georg Stöckl-Stillfried, who extended his congratulations and reviewed political developments and bilateral relations.
