Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, met with Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Lyndall Sachs, with whom he discussed Lebanon’s situation and regional matters, while also focusing on enhancing bilateral relations.
Derian also met with MP Bilal Al-Hachimi, who addressed sensitive national issues, including the presidency, detainees, and security at the Masnaa crossing. Hachimi stressed the need for a president with a comprehensive vision for Lebanon’s sovereignty, capable of restoring ties with the Arab world and ensuring justice for detainees.
Darian also received a delegation from "Al-Khair Foundation" and "Swiss Baraka" to discuss humanitarian and educational efforts in Lebanon.
