Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, met with MP Simon Abi Ramia, Chair of the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee, and later with MP Charbel Massaad at his office in Yarzeh. Discussions reportedly focused on general local developments.
General Aoun also received a delegation from the Lebanese Armed Forces Veterans Association, led by retired Major General Nicolas Mazher, to discuss matters concerning retired military personnel.
In another meeting, the Army Commander welcomed the head of the Alawite Islamic Council, Sheikh Ali Qaddour, accompanied by a delegation, and Baalbek-Hermel Governor Bashir Khodr, where general issues were addressed.
