The first chocolate museum in Lebanon and the Middle East was inaugurated at a ceremony held in Verdun, Beirut, under the patronage of Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, represented by MP Rola Tabash, in the presence of the Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hubert Cormann, and ranking dignitaries.
After MP Tabash cut the ribbon, a tour was conducted with a Belgian expert in the chocolate industry around the museum which includes 350 pieces telling the story of chocolate and the progress of this industry over the years.
