On the first day of the new year, Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem appeared and confirmed that "resistance remains steadfast and has regained its strength, fueled by faith that enables it to grow even stronger, and it has prevented the Israeli enemy from making any advances."
In his speech at the Fourth International Conference honoring the late Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi in Tehran, he added, "The Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon is an assault on both the state and the international community, and the Lebanese state is responsible for overseeing the ceasefire in coordination with the committee tasked with implementing the agreement."
He stated, "We are exercising patience during this phase, considering it the state's responsibility to prove itself through political action; we must evaluate recent events, and our influence within Lebanon remains significant and impactful," emphasizing that Hezbollah will work with its partners to elect a president and rebuild the country.
