Caretaker Minister of Information Ziad Makary welcomed, at his ministry office on Monday, Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar.
“The meeting with the Minister of Information was very good,” Athar told reporters.
“We discussed the bilateral relations between the two country, on the basis of the meeting Minister Makary had held with the Pakistani Minister of Information in Istanbul,” he said.
“We are looking forward to Minister Makary’s visiting Pakistan in the near future, especially that the relations between the two countries are fraternal,” he added.
“Pakistan tried to help Lebanon with all available means during the last Israeli war, and it will continue to do so,” he concluded.
