In an interview with the French newspaper LE POINT, US President-elect Donald Trump's Middle East advisor Massad Boulos pointed out that there was an initial misunderstanding, particularly in Lebanon, where it was believed that the ceasefire agreement applied only to the area south of the Litani River. He clarified that the document stipulates the "disarmament of all armed groups, militias, and paramilitary organizations," which means it will include Hezbollah, a responsibility that falls on the Lebanese army, including areas north of the Litani.
