The Jordanian Embassy announced in a statement that "the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid, received this afternoon, Saturday, at Rafic Hariri International Airport, the Royal Jordanian Air Force plane loaded with aid provided to the Lebanese Army."
The statement added, "The plane was received from the Lebanese side by Brigadier General Ghaleb Kanaan, representing the Lebanese Army Commander, who expressed the leadership's appreciation to His Majesty the King for the Kingdom's support and continuous assistance to the Lebanese people."
"The plane departed, with God's grace and care, to the Kingdom, carrying on board a group of Jordanians wishing to leave due to the current situation in brotherly Lebanon," the statement concluded.
