Lebanese Democratic Party Chief, Talal Arslan stressed Sunday via his Twitter account that the problems and crises of the country are to be tackled around the Cabinet's table and not on the streets.
He added: “What His Excellency, the President of the Republic has done falls within the core of his constitutional powers, and no one ought to disrupt the country and its constitutional institutions.”
Arslan referred herein to his calls on several occasions for holding a cabinet meeting to discuss the assassination attempt on Minister Saleh al-Gharib.
"The natural place for addressing the country’s problems and crises is within the constitutional institutions,” he said, urging the Prime Minister to call for a cabinet meeting to discuss the Qabrshmoun incident and let the Cabinet practice its natural right in voting on referring the case to the Justice Council.
