Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received this afternoon at the Grand Serail, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon Imran Riza, with discussions reportedly touching on coordination between the Lebanese government and the United Nations institutions.
Earlier, Premier Salam received at the Grand Serail the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Lebanon Dorothee Klaus, with whom he discussed the challenges facing the agency in its local and regional work.
The Premier also received a delegation from the International Confederation of Lebanese Businessmen, headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Saint Joseph University, Professor Fouad Zmokhol.
The delegation voiced support for Premier Salam’s efforts in the march towards Lebanon’s recovery.
Additionally, Salam received a delegation from Saint Joseph University, headed by Father Salim Daccache, who extended to the Premier an invitation to attend the celebration organized by the USJ on March 19 marking the 150th anniversary of its founding.
The PM then received a delegation from the University College of Nonviolence and Human Rights AUNOHR, headed by Dr. Ugarit Younan, in the presence of the College Board of Trustees. The delegation briefed Premier Salam on the university's objectives and activities.
