President Joseph Aoun warned that corruption has unfortunately become a widespread culture, emphasizing that it will not be curbed without strict accountability.
Speaking before the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the Lebanese President urged its members to enforce the law without hesitation, guided by their conscience and ethics, and to resist pressure from any party.
"You have a crucial role in the coming phase, and everyone must be under the rule of law—starting with the President of the Republic," Aoun added.
