Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, expressed hope for the formation of a new government, either today or tomorrow, during his meeting with a delegation from the Jounieh Keserwan-Ftouh Traders Association, led by Jack Hakim.
"We must place our trust in this government, the Patriarch remarked, adding that Lebanon is entering a new phase supported by the international community, and expressed strong confidence in the President and Prime Minister to lead the country’s economic recovery, which he believes will help curb youth emigration.
Rahi also reiterated that Lebanon was poised to regain its pivotal role in the Levant and underscored the importance of revitalizing the Jounieh port and Qlayaat airport.
