Axios reported that "Israel and Lebanon have agreed to begin negotiations to resolve disputes related to their land borders," adding that "Israel has released 5 Lebanese detainees as part of the agreements with Lebanon."
Meanwhile, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed "the release of 5 Lebanese detainees in coordination with Washington, as a goodwill gesture to the new President of Lebanon," noting "the agreement to form working groups with the US, France, and Lebanon to resolve the border issue."
