Prime Minister-designate, Dr. Nawal Salam, hosted UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert at his residence in Qoreitem.
The pair reportedly discussed the current situation in Lebanon, focusing on the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 following the extension of the ceasefire agreement.
Additionally, President-designate Salam met with the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza.
Both men discussed ways to enhance cooperation between UN institutions and the Lebanese state.
