Caretaker Minister of Economy Amin Salam took to X platform to express optimism regarding Saudi Arabia’s potential decision to lift the ban on its citizens traveling to Lebanon,
emphasizing that such a move would send a strong message to the world, signaling that Lebanon and its people are once again embraced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the same spirit of warmth and safety that has historically defined relations between the two nations.
Minister Salam shared an inspiring quote from a recent visit to Riyadh, where close associates of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed their affection for Lebanon: "We want Lebanon and the Lebanese not only on the train but in the driver's seat of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030."
Salam also noted that lifting the ban would signal a Saudi invitation to both the Arab and international communities to view Lebanon as a renewed investment hub—historically significant yet poised for future growth.
Salam emphasized that this move aligns with the larger regional vision of prosperity and progress, where Lebanon, with its rich diversity, can play a central role in building a new generation of Arab success.
