Caretaker Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh emphasized the government’s responsibility in Lebanon’s reconstruction efforts during a conference titled "Reconstruction: A Plan or a Decision?" organized by the Association of Urban Planning Specialists at the Beirut Order of Engineers.
"Reconstruction is a duty of the Lebanese government, to be carried out according to ministerial plans and decisions, and in cooperation with all stakeholders," Hamieh stated.
Moreover, the Minister highlighted the critical role of the engineering sector in these efforts, describing it as "the cornerstone of this mission," and stressed the importance of adhering to speed and transparency in execution.
"Collaboration is essential in this file, and we reaffirmed our commitment to these principles," Hamieh concluded.
