Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs José Manuel Albares, and his accompanying delegation at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh.
The meeting was attended by Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon Jesús Santos Aguado, and Speaker Berri's media advisor Ali Hamdan.
Discussions covered general developments in Lebanon and the region, political updates, and bilateral relations.
Berri also met with European Union Ambassador to Lebanon Sandra De Waele.
Talks reportedly focused on the general situation, political and field developments, ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, and financial and economic conditions, along with related legislative matters.
Additionally, Speaker Berri bid farewell to Bangladeshi Ambassador Major General Javed Tanveer Khan, who visited on the occasion of concluding his tenure in Lebanon.
