MP Neemat Frem officially announced his candidacy for the presidency and his readiness to take on this national responsibility. He said, "I pledge to implement the ceasefire measure and enforce Resolution 1701, along with various related decisions issued by Lebanon to ensure stability."
He noted, "This month has been pivotal, marking the dawn of a new era for the entire Middle East. After the presidential election date was set for next month, I felt it was important, out of respect for the situation, to formally announce my candidacy."
As part of his electoral platform, he expressed his intention to:
- Form a government tasked with implementing Resolution 1701, centralizing weapons within legitimate institutions, and enhancing trust in them.
- Adopt a comprehensive reform and rescue plan.
