Watch: Massive Destruction in Basta... Who Was the Target?

Israeli warplanes bombed an eight-story residential building in the Basta area of central Beirut with five missiles, completely destroying it.

Initial reports indicate that the strike resulted in four fatalities and 33 injuries. Meanwhile, Israeli media described the airstrike on Basta Al Fawqa as an assassination operation. The attack was carried out without prior warning.

Israeli media also reported that the target of the strike was Hezbollah official Talal Hamieh.
