As part of his diplomatic mission to Western capitals, Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel traveled from Paris to Washington, engaging in a series of high-level discussions with officials responsible for Lebanon-related affairs.
Gemayel met with U.S. President Joe Biden's senior advisor Amos Hochstein with talks featuring high on the recent developments and the latest efforts to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon.
During the meeting, Gemayel stressed the importance of ensuring that Lebanon’s national interests are represented at the negotiating table in any proposed settlement
He emphasized that the country’s sovereignty, the restoration of its independent decision-making, and the well-being of the Lebanese people must be at the heart of any potential agreement.
