MP Ibrahim Kanaan inspected the fire sites in northern Matn after coordinating with the Lebanese Army and Civil Defense. He requested the use of helicopters to limit the spread of the flames and assist in extinguishing them.
Kanaan wrote on his X account: "The army's helicopters are responding to the call," sharing a photo of one of the helicopters at the fire site.
