The following statement was issued by the media relations of Hezbollah:
"Reuters published a report regarding what it called the new leadership of the ground war in Hezbollah, along with details related to the nature of this war, its plans, and its weapons. This report is purely the imagination of Reuters' writers, journalists, and security advisors. Furthermore, the attribution of information to a field commander in Hezbollah is entirely false. Our policy, as has become known, and it may be necessary to reiterate, is that there are no sources within Hezbollah, let alone a source from a field commander providing such dangerous information attributed to him."
