The US police managed to arrest a migrant from Guatemala on charges of setting fire to a sleeping woman aboard a "Coney Island F" train and watching her burn to death.
Police reported that a civilian identified the suspected killer while riding a train on "34th Street" in Manhattan.
According to the police, the suspect entered the country and was detained by Border Patrol agents in Arizona in June 2018. Authorities have not yet found any previous criminal record for him in New York City.
Sources indicated that authorities are still working to confirm whether he is in the country legally.
The migrant is suspected of setting the woman on fire around 7:30 am on Sunday and then watching her burn to death in a horrifying murder.
