Ukrainian drones attacked the city of Kazan, leading to the temporary closure of its airport, according to Russian media and aviation authorities.
Official Russian news agencies reported that the attack targeted a residential complex in Kazan, located about 800 kilometers east of Moscow.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the city was attacked by three swarms of drones.
Local authorities, quoted by news agencies, confirmed that no human casualties were reported. The mayor of Kazan announced on Telegram that all planned public events in the city for today and tomorrow have been canceled, and temporary housing will be provided for those displaced.
The Russian security-affiliated Telegram channel, Baza, published footage showing a flying object colliding with a high-rise building, followed by a large fireball.
