Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid believes the government is dangerously hurtling towards a “multi-arena conflict” that could mean Israeli forces are simultaneously present in Gaza, occupied West Bank and Lebanon.
“The government has not coordinated with the security establishment, which warns of a violent flare-up,” Lapid wrote on X. “The ones who will pay the price are our children, who will be forced to enter Jenin, Gaza and Lebanon.”
