Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati held a series of meetings and discussions at the Grand Serail.
Premier Mikati met first with MP Jihad al-Samad, with whom he broached the general situation, particularly the developments in the south and his foreign tours.
MP al-Samad hailed the positive role undertaken by Premier Mikati at this critical stage in the nation’s history.
The PM also held talks with the Secretary General of the Tashnag Party, MP Hagop Pakradounian, over the current developments from various aspects.
Mikati separately welcomed MP Taha Naji, with whom he discussed the country's general situation and demands related to the city of Tripoli and the North.
Mikati then received resepectively the Lebanese ambassadors to Cyprus Claude Hajal, Switzerland Rola Noureddine, and Iran Hassan Abbas.
The PM also received the head of the Engineers Syndicate in the North, Shawqi Fatfat.
The Prime Minister received the former Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee, Major General Mohammed Khair, accompanied by family members. During the meeting, Mikati hailed Major General Khair's work and efforts he has made over the years, wishing him success.
Among Premier Mikati’s itinerant visitors for today had been Saad Al-Din Hamidi Saqr.
