Many roads remained blocked on Tuesday by scores of angry protesters who refused Prime Minister Saad Hariri's rescue plan and insisted that they wouldn't leave the streets until the government stepped down.
However, some roads have been reopened to traffic:
Roads leading to Baabda Palace (with the exception of Kfarshima bridge) - Highway leading to and from Tyre - some roads leading to Khaldeh, Choueifat, Aramoun, and Bchamoun - Sidon roundabout near Hariri Mosque - Khaldeh highway in both direction - most of Koura roads - western tip of the highway leading to Nahr Al-Kalb - Marjeyoun/Hasbaya - road leading to Quarantina's fish market locality.
