Opposition candidate Mauricio Macri has been confirmed as the winner candidate in Argentina's presidential bid.
The election results marked the end of the 12-year-rule of Christina Kirchner.
But what is more exciting for Macri than the party atmosphere that has prevailed over the stunning defeat of his leftist contender Scioli, is having a Lebanese wife to fill in the role of Argentina's new first lady.
Macri has wedded the textile entrepreneur Juliana Awada Baker of Lebanese origins.
She is the daughter of Ibrahim Awada, a Lebanese immigrant from Baalbek, and mother Elsa Esther Baker. Juliana has four siblings: Zoraida and Daniel Awada are successful entrepreneurs, Leila Awada specializes in plastic arts and Alejandro Awada is an actor.
Juliana met her husband back in 2009 at the Ocampo gym in Buenos Aires; they tied the knots a year later on November 16.
