Snow on Friday evening blanketed the tops of Jabal Al Mukammal and Qornet Al-Sawda in Dannieh for the first time this year, amid a noticeable drop in temperatures that have fallen below zero degrees Celsius along heights. 

The region has also witnessed rainfall coupled with thick fog in mountainous areas.
