Head of the Syndicate of Owners and Investors of Domestic Gas Cylinder Filling Plants, Antoine Yammine, on Wednesday told the National News Agency that "gas filling plants will not deliver gas today due to the price hike noted in the new pricing schedule issued in the morning, in addition to the rise in the USD exchange rate."
"Gas filling plants cannot bear these losses," Yammine added, pointing out that there are factories that were forced to shut down due to their inability to bear further losses.
He appealed those concerned to allow selling the material according to the USD market exchange rate "because its bought in USD and sold in LBP."
