Minister of Interior Ahmed Hajjar received in his office, Lebanese Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel who paid him a congratulatory visit upon assuming his ministerial duties.
The visit was a chance to dwell on the latest developments on the domestic scene and the ongoing preparations for the upcoming municipal and mayoral elections.
Minister Hajjar later received MP Michel Daher, with whom he discussed the country’s general situation and relevant district affairs.
Additionally, Hajjar received a delegation from the "Association of Retired Armed Forces Personnel" led by retired Brigadier General Nicolas Mazhar, with whom he discussed the affairs of retired military personnel.
