President of the Republic Joseph Aoun afternoon received at Baabda Palace, a delegation from the international law firm “Clifford Chance”, which included Nicholas Wong, Mohammed Al-Shukairy, Deborah Zandstra, Jonathan Lewis, and Lynn Ammar.
The delegation briefed President Aoun on the role of the international law firm in addressing outstanding issues, particularly financial and economic ones, in light of the experience it has gained in this field.
The delegation members discussed the measures the Lebanese government should adopt to address the Eurobond issue in a manner that simultaneously safeguards the rights of the Lebanese state and bondholders.
