Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, the Board Chairman and Director General of La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, along with a delegation from the Regie Board of Directors.
Seklaoui briefed Speaker Berri on the institution's most important achievements and projects it implemented over the past year, and the programs the Régie is implementing under the current circumstances.
Speaker Berri later received a delegation from the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants, headed by its President Elie Abboud, and members of the Association Council.
The delegation briefed the Speaker on the 22nd International Conference, which the Syndicate will organize in September under the title "Financial Inclusion for a Sustainable Economy."
The delegation also presented the Syndicate Council's work programme, which it has begun implementing at the professional and national levels.
Additionally, Speaker Berri received in Ain El-Tineh, the new Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdullah, who came on a protocol visit upon assuming his new duties.
