Berri leads a series of meetings in Ain el-Tineh

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Kataeb Party leader MP Samy Gemayel, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current general situation, political developments and national affairs.

Speaker Berri also received in Ain El-Tineh, a delegation from the subcommittee emanating from the joint parliamentary committees tasked with studying the law proposal aimed at establishing a compulsory health coverage system. The delegation included Committee Chairman MP Bilal Abdallah, and MPs Ali Mekdad, Fadi Alameh, Abdul Rahman Bizri, Sajih Attieh, and Imad Al-Hout.

The meeting focused on political developments and legislative affairs, particularly the outcomes reached by the committee in its meetings regarding the law proposal aimed at establishing a compuslory comprehensive health coverage system and the amendments introduced to it.
