Head of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil called on the Prime Minister-designate to correct the course and form a government with fairness.
In a press conference, Bassil stated, "If you don’t want the Shiite duo to have a blocking third, reduce their ministers or allies, not our ministers!"
The FPM leader criticized the PM-designate for taking from their share to increase his own, particularly naming an excessive number of Christian ministers. "We will maintain our freedom, sovereignty, and independence, whether inside or outside the government,” Bassil added, highlighting significant political and regional challenges ahead, urging solidarity to avoid conflict.
