A horrifying incident unfolded in the town of Faraya, Keserwan, early on Sunday, claiming the life of 20-year-old Khalil Khalil. The tragedy occurred when Jonathan Chamoun deliberately ran over Khalil following a heated argument over the right of way.
According to reports, the altercation began when the two men had a dispute about traffic rules. The confrontation escalated as Chamoun, determined to settle the disagreement, followed Khalil to a hotel in Faraya where his family was staying.
Khalil's sister stepped outside after noticing a suspicious car moving in the vicinity. To her horror, she found her brother's body lying lifeless on the ground. Witnesses say Chamoun approached her and uttered chilling words: "Let him learn not to mess with me."
In an emotional interview with MTV, Khalil's sister shared her grief and anger. She questioned the lack of accountability, asking, "Are we living in a jungle?"
