Caretaker Public Works Ali Hamieh inspected snow-clearing centers to ensure readiness for the winter season. The Minister confirmed the maintenance of snowplows and the provision of diesel, salt, and essential supplies.
During a press conference in Faraya, Hamieh stated, "Our priority is keeping mountain roads open for citizens, especially in key tourist areas."
Hamieh praised workers as "unsung heroes" and urged citizens to follow safety guidelines during storms.
Hamieh also emphasized cooperation with other ministries to enhance road safety, boost winter tourism, and support Lebanon's economic recovery.
