Deputy Parliament Speaker Elias Bou Saab met with Cypriot Ambassador to Lebanon, Maria Hadjitheodosiou, at his office in Parliament.
Bou Saab also received Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcísio Costa, with whom he discussed the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire and Israel’s deliberate violations.
Bou Saab described these actions as "provocations against Lebanon and the international community, and blatant assaults on Lebanon’s sovereignty, civilians, and army personnel, exposing once again Israel’s false claims in this regard."
The meetings also addressed shared challenges, including the issue of irregular migration across the Mediterranean to Cyprus.
Bou Saab stressed that "Lebanon is also burdened by this crisis, and the international community must be urged to find lasting solutions."
