Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon Stephanie McCollum at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh. The pair discussed general conditions, as well as the latest political and field developments.
Berri also met with Caretaker Health Minister Firas Abiad with whom he reviewed the overall situation, focusing on political and health matters.
Discussions also addressed the conditions of public hospitals, particularly in areas affected by the recent Israeli aggression in the south and Bekaa, as well as ways to support and enhance their operations.
The meeting also covered the Ministry of Health’s medical and pharmaceutical services.
