Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miakti began Monday a series of diplomatic meetings aimed at supporting the Lebanese position on halting the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
He met at the Grand Serail with the European Union's Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele, who stressed the necessity of an immediate ceasefire.
Mikati later met with Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Qian Minjian over the latest developments.
Mikati had earlier received Acting Director General of the General Security agency, Major General Elias Baissari.
