Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan pointed out that "the attacks on Lebanon confirm that Israel seeks to spread war in the region."
In a statement, he said, "Israel is killing Palestinians in Gaza either with bombs or through hunger and thirst, and it is acting not like a state but like a terrorist organization." He added that "a great responsibility lies on us, the world, and the United Nations towards Gaza." Erdogan noted that "some Western countries continued their support for Israel despite our warnings."
He considered that "Israel's use of electronic devices in its attack on Lebanon proves that it is acting like a terrorist organization." He emphasized the need to "intensify pressure on Israel to prevent the region from slipping into a major disaster," adding that "the region is now facing a serious crisis, and the international community must stop merely watching what Israel is doing."
