Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, wrote on X: "It is clear that there is an external-internal intersection on not revealing the truth about the August 4 port crime. There is an insistence on not providing information from any external intelligence agency or any image from any satellite, and in return there is an insistence on stopping the judicial process in Lebanon. When there is a major intersection of interests, the story is much bigger than negligence and dereliction of duty."
He asked: "Can the families of the victims, the wounded, the affected, and all the suffering Lebanese hope to know the truth?"
"We call on the judges of Lebanon, especially those concerned and those concerned with the first matter, to do their job and issue the indictment or be ashamed and return to their homes! Your duty is the truth first and justice second, and we have the right to obtain it from you," the MP concluded.
