Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, held a press conference at the embassy in Bir Hassan, emphasizing that while Iran does not seek to expand the war, it will not allow the region to become prey to the US and Israel.
Amani said that the attack on a resistance figure in Tehran, and all the political developments, including the aggression in Beirut's southern suburbs, were under close scrutiny.
He warned that Israel will face repercussions for assassinating Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, drawing parallels to past assassinations of Palestinian leaders.
