Hezbollah's Media Relations office said in a statement that the party was waiting for the rubble clearing process to end to uncover the fate of commander Fouad Shukur, following an Israeli enemy strike on a building in Haret Hreik.
"As it has become known, the Zionist enemy attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 targeting a residential building, which led to the martyrdom of a number of citizens and the injury of others," the statement read, adding that Shukur was inside the building at the time it was hit.
"The Civil Defense teams are working on clearing the rubble," the statement added. "We are still waiting for the outcome that those concerned with this process will reach regarding the fate of the top and dear commander and other citizens," it said.
