Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that "the Resistance in Lebanon will continue what it started on October 8 until we reach the goal we aspire to."
During his speech at the central Ashura council in the Sayyed al-Shuhada complex in Beirut's southern suburbs, he added: "If the majority of the world remains silent in supporting Gaza and endorsing Israel, this does not mean that it is right," clarifying that "the issue is not about the majority but about seeking the truth, whether it is supported by the majority or the minority."
Nasrallah pointed out that "sectarianism for parties, families, regions, and sects, regardless of right and wrong, is a problem present in Lebanon."
Referring to the Israeli war on Gaza, he noted that "people are suffering from the current situation," explaining that "support fronts for Gaza in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and political support such as Syria and Iran are a positive image, contrasted by a sad image of the Arab and Islamic world's stance towards Gaza."
He emphasized that "what the resistance in Lebanon began on October 8 during Tawafan Al Aqsa operation, and what it has offered so far in terms of martyrs, wounded, destroyed houses, and achievements, and all the challenges it faces," asserting that "we will continue on this path until we achieve our desired goal in Lebanon and Gaza, and no dangers or challenges will make us retreat from our position and steadfastness in this battle."
