Minister of Finance, Dr. Youssef El-Khalil, on Monday welcomed the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Yasser Alawi, with whom he discussed the financial situation in Lebanon, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries. Separately, Minister Al-Khalil discussed with Lebanese University President, Dr. Bassam Badran, issues related to the university's budget, the need to secure educational requirements, and the best means to obtain professors’ rights. 

It has also been agreed to transfer the money collected from PCR tests - previously performed by Areeba company - at Beirut airport to the benefit of the Lebanese University as soon as possible.
