Watch: Airport staff push plane by hand

Social media users shared a video showing employees at an airport in Gujarat, western India, pushing a plane backward with their bare hands.

According to media reports, the reason was the lack of the necessary technical and mechanical equipment to tow the plane to another location, as is customary in other airports where tractors are used to push or pull planes in accordance with safety protocols.

It appears that the plane suffered a malfunction in its thrust reverser, forcing the crew on site to intervene.
