Tourism Minister Walid Nassar, met in his office at the ministry with the ambassadors of Argentina, Mauricio Alice, Ivory Coast Christophe Kwaku and Sweden, Anne Desmore, with discussions reportedly focusing on how to create opportunities that enhance tourism exchange between their countries and Lebanon, as well encouraging tourists and Lebanese residing in their countries to visit their homeland next summer.
Nassar explained to the ambassadors the ministry's work plan, and the existing preparations for the Lebanon festivals that will be held in the capital Beirut in the summer of 2022, as well as for the first tourism conference for the city and district of Byblos entitled: "A vision for sustainable tourism for the city and district of Byblos", in addition to the summer tourism package.
